Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Equimedia Advisors LLC handles information through AZ Pickleball Finder. You can browse the directory without submitting a contact form. The current private preview may also require the hosting platform’s sign-in, governed by that platform’s policies.
Spike’s email updates
The coming-soon form collects your email address and explicit consent to ongoing AZ Pickleball Finder emails, including launch news, forecasts, courts, coaching, tournaments, local updates, and Spike Perks. We save the consent wording, version, and signup time. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails, or email andrew@equimediaadvisors.com to withdraw your permission now. Email delivery is being configured; signing up saves your request and does not send an immediate confirmation email. Email signup does not authorize text messages. Earlier requests made under the one-launch-email wording keep that limited permission; we do not expand them automatically. Duplicate requests do not create extra subscriptions or reactivate removed contacts. We use short-lived signup counters to limit abuse and do not store your raw IP address in the signup record.
Information you provide
Forms collect your name, email, ZIP code, the request type, selected venue when applicable, travel radius, court preferences, skill level, availability, and any notes you provide. Coaching requests can include goals, lesson format, and budget. Spike Partner inquiries can include one or more partner types (clubs, coaches, tournaments, products or services), a business or professional name, optional phone number and website or social link, service area, a description of the offering, proposed perks, and optional coaching or tournament details.
We also save your consent, acknowledgment of these policies, the policy version, submission time, and a request reference. Please do not provide payment-card details, health records, passwords, or sensitive personal information in free-text fields. We do not process bookings or collect membership payments on this site.
Ask Spike AI chat
When AI chat is connected and you choose to send a message, your question, up to eight recent messages, optional ZIP and distance preference, and relevant public directory or guide content are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. You acknowledge this before your first message. The chat does not access our private inquiry database or automatically send information to clubs or coaches.
The application keeps your conversation only in the current page’s memory; refreshing, leaving the page, closing the chat panel, or selecting New chat clears it. We do not save chat transcripts in our application database or request that OpenAI store Responses API conversation state. OpenAI and hosting providers may retain operational or abuse-monitoring data under their applicable policies; clearing this chat does not erase provider records. See OpenAI API data controls.
To limit misuse and AI costs, we keep short-lived request counts associated with a daily keyed hash of your platform user ID or network address, plus overall usage counts. These contain no chat text or raw identifiers. Expired counters are removed during subsequent chat activity. Do not enter passwords, payment details, health records, children’s information, or other sensitive information. Use our separate forms for a contact request.
Technical information and location
Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times, and service logs to deliver and protect the site. This application does not add advertising pixels or behavioral advertising analytics.
ZIP search uses approximate ZIP-code centers. When a ZIP is not in our local lookup data, it is sent to Zippopotam.us to obtain a location. Names, emails, and form contents are not sent with that lookup. We do not request your device’s precise GPS location.
The application does not set marketing cookies. The hosting platform may use cookies or similar technologies for sign-in, security, and service operation. External sites you open may use their own cookies and tracking.
Spike’s Weather Report
The hosting edge uses approximate location associated with your IP address to select Phoenix or Tucson weather. We do not save that location or your IP address in the weather feature. If detection is unavailable or outside Arizona, we default to Phoenix. You can override the city; that preference is saved in this browser’s local storage until you select Auto location or clear browser data.
Our server requests forecasts from MET Norway and alerts from the National Weather Service using fixed Phoenix or Tucson coordinates and regional county codes. Your IP address, precise location, and contact details are not sent with these requests. Forecast and alert data are cached and shared by city. Links to NWS accounts on X open that service directly; we do not embed its tracking widgets.
Email and text weather signup
The current weather signup collects both your email address and US mobile number, your selected delivery channels, Phoenix or Tucson preference, consent text and version, and signup time. Earlier weather signups remain in a separate weather interest list. The current form uses the unified member preferences described below. Email and text delivery are not active yet. Joining the list authorizes a launch confirmation through your selected channel; daily reports will begin only after you confirm. We do not send these contact details to the forecast provider or to clubs and coaches.
We keep short-lived signup counts, including a hash of the submitted contact and the current hour, to limit abuse. These counters expire and are removed during later activity. The signup does not collect or store your IP address. Contact andrew@equimediaadvisors.com to change or remove your signup. The unified preference center includes private preference links and unsubscribe controls; see Member updates below. Message and data rates may apply to future texts.
Your weather-panel collapse preference is stored in this browser until you change it or clear browser data.
Member updates and preferences
The unified signup requires both your email address and US mobile number for your member record, whether you choose email only, weather text only, or both. It also saves your selected delivery channels, region, topics, watched clubs, consent version, confirmation state, and dates. Providing contact information is not consent to messages through an unselected channel. Email and weather-text interests have separate consent and confirmation records. Existing weather-only interest records are not automatically added to promotional lists. Unconfirmed addresses never receive recurring campaigns. Text delivery remains inactive.
When email delivery is activated, Resend processes recipient addresses and message content on our behalf. Private confirmation and preference links let you confirm, change topics, or unsubscribe. Keep these links private. We record delivery receipts, bounces, complaints, and opt-out events to operate and protect the service. Suppressed addresses are not automatically reactivated. We do not use email-open pixels. Forecast providers and listed venues do not receive your subscription details.
We retain preferences while providing the requested service and a minimal consent/suppression history to honor your choices. You can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Short-lived abuse limits use a hash of the submitted address and current hour, without storing a raw IP address.
Referral links and optional measurement
Outbound partner links add campaign and placement tags (UTM codes). Our server records a random click reference, destination ID, time, campaign, placement, and the applicable agreement snapshot. We do not include your name, email, phone, or raw IP in these records or UTM tags. An active partner may receive the random click ID in its agreed attribution parameter and apply its own tracking policy. Its confirmed conversion reports may contain order references, amounts, and status; these help reconcile fees and payments.
Optional first-party page measurement is off by default. If you allow it through Measurement preferences, a small pixel counts visits by page and day without a visitor profile. The preference is saved in a first-party cookie and local storage. You can turn it off at any time. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track for this optional measurement. No advertising-network pixels are connected. Referral, agreement, conversion, payment, and adjustment records are restricted to site operations.
Nearby-courts map
The hosting edge may supply an approximate location associated with your IP address. The map rounds this location to about a kilometer, uses it to find mapped directory venues within 25 straight-line miles, and does not store the location or raw IP address. If detection is unavailable or outside Arizona, the map starts at central Phoenix. You can choose Phoenix or Tucson; this choice is saved in this browser until you select automatic location or clear browser data. We do not request device GPS.
Map imagery loads from OpenStreetMap. Your browser sends OpenStreetMap normal network information, including its IP address, the site origin, and the map tiles requested. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy. Public venue addresses were matched using the US Census Geocoder; no visitor information is sent to that geocoder. Locations and distances are approximate, and venues without a matched address are omitted from the map.
How we use information
We use submitted information to save and review your request, respond to you, explore a suitable referral, develop the player network or partner program, maintain consent records, and prevent abuse. Submitting an inquiry is not a subscription to unrelated marketing.
When we share information
No form automatically forwards your details to a club or coach. Before a referral, we ask for your separate approval to share specified details with the named recipient. Once you approve a referral, that recipient handles the information under its own privacy policy. We do not publish player profiles or coach profiles from an intake form without separate approval.
Service providers that host or support the application may process information to operate it. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security, or the rights of affected people. We do not sell your contact list or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. A paid referral arrangement does not authorize disclosure of your details without your approval.
Storage, retention, and security
Requests are stored in the site’s database and are not displayed publicly. We limit use of the information to the purposes described here. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, operate the service, maintain consent records, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable obligations. You can request deletion. Information that must be retained for legal or security reasons may be kept for those purposes; provider backup retention may differ from active records.
Your choices
Email andrew@equimediaadvisors.com to request access, correction, deletion, or to withdraw permission for future contact or a referral that has not yet occurred. Include your request reference if available. We may verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal information. Withdrawing consent does not undo information already shared with your approval.
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights. We will assess requests under the law that applies to the service. This policy does not claim that every state or international privacy statute applies to this pilot.
Children and external sites
Our intake forms are for adults 18 and older. A family-membership listing does not invite children to create profiles or submit personal information. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
Maps, ratings, venue websites, reservation services, and other external links have their own privacy practices. Opening them sends a request to that third party. Review its policy before providing information.
Changes and questions
We update this page when our practices change and show the revision date at the top. We will seek new consent where needed before using previously collected information in a materially different way. Direct privacy questions and requests to the contact address below.
